Jeane Fay (Williams) Lancaster

Jeane Williams Lancaster, 79, of Belmont, NC, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2023, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House. She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late Sara Williams Preslar and Willie Alex Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Ashley Lancaster, Jr.; sisters, Ellen Morgan, Evone Westberry, and Glenda Morgan; her brothers, Jerry "Mickey" Williams, Willie Edward "Buddy" Williams, and Howard Lee "Tate" Williams.

Mrs. Lancaster is survived by her daughter, Robin Lancaster Davis and husband, Eddie of Belmont; grandson, Ashlee Edward Davis of Orland Park, IL., and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lancaster will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.
