Jeffery Lynn Whitner

Jeffery Lynn Whitner, age 54, passed away on September 9, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  He was born in Mecklenburg county and was the son of the late Tommie and Linda Whitner.  He was a lifelong passionate Pittsburg Steelers fan.  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Nicole Whitner, a sister Teresa Townsend (Edgar) , a brother Randy Whitner (Linda), and sister Tiffany McEntire (Mark), as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the American Heart Association.  Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly.
