Jeffrey Allen Haynie Sr.

Jeffrey Allen Haynie Sr., age 57, passed away on January 12, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  He was born in Gaston county, son of the late Joyce Stevens and his step dad Alfred.  Jeff will be remembered as a loving, Christian man who was happiest outdoors especially fishing.  He also was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering on the UNC Tar Heels as well as racing, and golf.  Those left to cherish his memory include his two children: Jennifer Mefford (Anthony), and Jeffrey Haynie Jr., four sisters: Dawn Atkinson (Paul), Lisa McDaniel, Dana Langley, and Amy Earley (Jerry)., his grandchildren: Gage, Gavin, and Kinleigh Mefford, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.   A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday January 22, 2022 in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.  The family will greet guests from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday also at the Funeral Home.
