Jenny (McElhannon) Mooneyham

Virignia "Jenny" Elizabeth McElhannon Mooneyham, 68, of Iron Station, died Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Atrium Health Lincolnton. She was born in Athens, Georgia to the late Vinson McElhannon and Frances Elizabeth Looney McElhannon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Scottie Mooneyham and a brother Vinson McElhannon, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband James Raymond Mooneyham; children Billy Mooneyham, Mandy Jordan, and Glenda Yarbrough; her sister Loretta Bradley; sister-in-law Cyndy Avery; grandchildren Taylor, McKenzie, Haley, and Braedin Mooneyham, Andrew Stoddard, Scotty Jordan, and Angela and Jamie Letterman; and 4 great-grandchildren. A private family service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.
