Jerry Hall Hunt, Jr.

Jerry Hall Hunt, Jr., 63, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. He was born in Gaston County, son of Linda Harris Hunt and the late Jerry Hall Hunt, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Hunt Scates; and his paternal grandmother, Claudia W. Hunt.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Hunt is survived by his son, Justin Hunt (Auris Yanez); his grandchildren, Judah and Noah Hunt; his aunt, Libby H. Carrigan; his niece, Taylor Scates; his cousin, Jayne Hunt Howe; his Lost Rider's Club members; a large group of great friends, who were like his family; his dogs, Booger and Rip; and his beloved horse, Lena.

The family will greet guests on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. A private graveside will be held at a later date.
