Jerry Lynn Tart

Jerry Lynn Tart, 63, of Mount Holly, died Thursday, August 1st. 2019.  He was born in Mecklenburg County to the late James Alexander Tart and Cora Lee Manes. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother David Judson Rathers.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Lisa Helton Tart; three sons Jeremy Daniel Tart of Belmont, Casey Wayne Tart of Mount Holly, and Jerry Ryan Tart of the home; two brothers Robert Rathers, and Richard Rathers both of Charlotte, and one sister Janie Mae Lowery of Easley, SC.  Mr. Tart was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Saddle Creek Transportation.  The family will receive friends at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly on Saturday, August 3rd. from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM  Condolence messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.woodlawnfuneral.org.
