Jessica Lynn Allen Murray, 43, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of Donald L. Allen and Doris Russell Allen. Mrs. Murray is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, and her great-niece, Tristen Leigh.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Murray is survived by her husband, Norman Fraser Murray, Jr.; her sister, Jennifer Allen Webb (Derek); a number of special nieces and nephews; and her furry babies, Marlee and Maggie. Jessica was very close to her sister, nieces, and nephews. Spending time with her family was her favorite thing to do. Family trips, beaches, Christmas vacations, going to her niece's and nephew's and great-niece's and nephew's extra-curricular events. She loved her CaroMont family deeply. CaroMont Pediatric Partners of Belmont was her second home.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Murray will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly. The family will receive from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
