Jimmy Ray Foxx, 68, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020. He was born in Lincoln County, son of the late Perry OB Fox and Madeline Nantz Fox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Foxx and his grandfather, George O. Fox. Jimmy was an avid fisherman and loved being on the water. He had a special place in his heart for his dogs.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Cathy Meeks Foxx; his son, Robbie Foxx and his wife, Jenni; his granddaughter, Kennedy Foxx, whom he loved so very much; his brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Gail Ballard; a number of nieces and nephews; his many friends, including his special Country Corner friends; and his dogs, Katie and Gunnar.
A graveside service to celebrate Jimmy's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly, with Pastor Mark McManus officiating.
