Jimmy Wayne Tarlton

Jimmy Wayne Tarlton, born June 19, 1950, passed away peacefully early on June 27, 2026, at Hospice Home facility in Huntersville, N.C. Jim was an engineer by education and trade. Over the many years of his career, he was employed by different companies as well as being self-employed with his own business. Jim was an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman and classic auto enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Harlold Tarlton; his mother, Georgie Lula Page Tarlton; and his brother, Jeffery Lee Tarlton. Survivors include his brothers, Johnny Tarlton, and Terry Tarlton; his sister, Debra Tarlton Wagner. The friends and family wish to express their sincere appreciation to the Hospice House in Huntersville and Hospice of Lincoln County for all the help and care of Jim.
