Jodi Hackett Fetto, age 73, passed away on Thursday October 2, 2025 at Atrium Health in Charlotte. She was born in Buffalo, NY, daughter of the late Henry Hackett and Dorothy Buczak Hackett. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Mike Fetto as well as her brother Ken Hackett.
Jodi’s happiest moments were spent surrounded by family, whether it was a loud football game or a quiet campfire. She lived for the joy of her children taking care of them was not just what she did, it was who she was. Her favorite time of year was the holidays especially Christmas — she found magic in the lights, the music, and the way the season brought everyone closer together. Her home glowed with warmth and sparkle, much like her spirit. She gave her life to her family and in her final moments she gave the gift of life to others.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Larry Myers, Aimee Kerr, Jessica Fetto (Fiancé Rowland Buck), and Michael Fetto; her brother Henry Hackett (Diane), her grandchildren: Zachery Buresch, Luke Kerr, Willow Kerr and Michael Fetto "Little Guy", her niece Sarah Oedbauer, as well as her nephew John Hackett.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday October 11, 2025 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday also at the Funeral Home.
