Jonathan "Jon" Miskelly

Jonathan Miskelly passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. He was the son of Donnie and Marsha Miskelly. Jonathan taught guitar and piano lessons at Rogers Music Academy where he loved teaching the children. His love for all things music was genetic and he was great at just about any instrument he learned to play. He loved to laugh and to make others laugh and everyone who knew him loved his goofy sense of humor. Jonathan was a former sergeant in the United States Marine Corps where he served 9 years and 2 tours of duty.

Jonathan was survived by his mother, Marsha Tilley Miskelly; his daughter, Lucy; his son, Jack; his sister, Shannon Miskelly; his nieces, Bailey Morris and Camryn Morris Helms (Jordan); his great niece, Avery Kate and his great nephew, Tucker. He also was survived by several cousins, aunts and uncles, and his closest friends were like brothers to him.

A private memorial service for immediate family will be held at 5:00pm on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mt. Holly and visitation will follow from 6-8pm, for all who knew and loved him.
