Julia Kate Morris

Julia Kate "Katie" Morris, 71, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. She was born in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, the daughter of the late George Edgar Morris, Sr. and Catherine Noneal Knowles Morris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Agata Noneal Morris Foster; and her brother, George Edgar Morris, Jr.

Katie spent her professional life caring for others, throughout her career as a nurse. She was a loving aunt who enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and reading. She is survived by her nephews, Dane McKay Foster and Marshall Todd Foster (Zita); her great-niece, Sophia Foster; her great-nephew, William Foster; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Morris will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly, NC. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly, NC. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
