Julie Rebecca (Becky) Tallent Burgin, 68, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of Helen Hannah Tallent and the late Clifford Odell Tallent. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Burgin is survived by her daughter, Lauren Burgin Carter and her husband, Lee; her grandchildren, Layne Carter, Logan Carter, and Lilly Carter; her siblings, Kathy Ferguson and her husband, Lyle, Paul Tallent and his wife, Heather, and Myra Courtney; and a number of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Burgin will be held at a later date.
