Karen (Pittman) Edwards

Karen Pittman Edwards, 56, of Bessemer City, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022. She was born in Beckley, West Virginia to Delma Wheeler Pittman and the late Thomas Ernest Pittman. In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her children, Ashley Pittman and Jeremy Edwards; her grandchildren, Azante, Asiah, Aylah and Areon Nichols, and Joshua and Mireya Edwards; her boyfriend, Donald Christopher; and her sisters, Tammy Pittman Campbell and Melissa Kay Pittman. Karen will be missed by all of them and was extremely proud of her son Jeremy for his service in the U.S. Army. The family will greet guests from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. A service to celebrate Karen's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, also at the funeral home. Interment will conclude at Westview Gardens Cemetery in Bessemer City.
