Kevin Edward Gibson, Sr.

Kevin Edward Gibson, Sr., 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at his home. He was born in Chicago, IL, son of the late Lee Roy Gibson and Leona Pruitt Gibson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ricky Gibson, Donald Aldridge, Diane Collins, Dennis Gibson, Larry Gibson, Debbie Duncan, Brian Gibson, and Tammy Gibson.

Mr. Gibson is survived by his wife, Lori Farris Gibson; his children, Kevin Gibson, Jr., Jeffery Gibson, Carrie Gomez (Michael), Jack Gibson (Storm), and Haley Dimmer (Jay); 15 grandchildren; his brothers, Michael Gibson (Brenda), Kenneth Gibson, Randy Gibson, and Thomas Gibson, and Joey Gibson; and a number of other nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Mr. Gibson will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 2129 London Lane, Belmont, North Carolina, 28012.
