Kimberly Dawn Graves

Kimberly Dawn Graves, 43, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Novant Health Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of Linda Melton Graves and the late Robert Harley Graves. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Maxine Harkey and Fred Lee Melton, and her paternal grandparents Lena Lyles Graves and Clyde William Graves. Kim was formerly of McAdenville where she was former Christmastown Princess and Jr. Miss McAdenville. She was also a Teen Magazine Model. In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her children Jacob Scott Ivey and Trinity Denning, and a brother Scott Lee Graves and his wife Karen G. Graves. The family will greet guests from 2 until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. A service to celebrate Kim's life will be held immediately following at 3:00 p.m. in the Woodlawn Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Historic Goshen Cemetery in Belmont.
