Kylie Ann Leophard

Iron Station, NC - It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kylie Ann Leophard on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026. Born on June 30th, 2006, in Gastonia, NC, Kylie was strong willed, humorous, and tender hearted to all who knew her, during her 19 years with us.

A resident of Iron Station, NC, Kylie was the cherished daughter of Amy McPherson Leophard. She is survived by her loving sisters, Gracie and Ella Leophard, who fondly remember her as the “funniest person ever.” Her grandparents, Bill and Betsy McPherson and Carolyn Leophard, along with numerous cousins, also survive her, all of whom were touched by her determination, and the tender soul she so freely shared with all her people.

Kylie grew up attending Stanley Schools, South Point and East Gaston, where she cultivated a reputation for her humor, alternative style clothing and strong will. She loved her time with her middle school band and often wanted to learn how to play a variety of instruments. Her educational journey continued at Gaston College.

Kylie's life was filled with love for her mom, sisters, her beloved animals, including her late baby Yorkshire Terrier, Bella Glowy, and her affection for cats. Her sisters remember her not only for her humor but also for her genuine and nurturing spirit.

A visitation to celebrate Kylie will be held at Alexis Baptist Church Family Life Center on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 5:00 -6:30 pm. In mourning her passing, we also celebrate the life of a young woman whose humor and enduring spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Kylie Ann Leophard will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched.
