Larry Douglas Proctor

Larry Douglas Proctor, 73, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late Robert Proctor and Joyce Hamm Proctor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Betty Proctor; and his brother, Mark Proctor. He was a member of the Montgomery, OH Masonic Lodge 94 and former member of the Southern Corvette Club of Concord.

Mr. Proctor is survived by his wife, Linda Bessler Proctor; his son, James Proctor and his wife, Glenna; his step-children, Nicole L. Engel, Ryan L. Engel and his fiance Aimee Lowrey; his grandchildren, Stephanie Hodges and her husband Randy Hodges, and Dallas Proctor; his great-grandchildren, Isaac Hodges and Mason Hodges, as well as a great-granddaughter who is due to arrive in December; his sisters, Melissa Proctor and Kimberly Hayes and her husband, Kevin; his brother, Robert Proctor and his wife, Dusty; two sister-in-laws; two brother-in-laws; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Proctor will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly, NC. Burial, with Masonic Rites, will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the funeral home.
