Lawrence Clayton (Larry) Reynolds

Lawrence "Larry" Clayton Reynolds, 62, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Kenneth K. Reynolds and Johnsie B. Davis Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Reynolds; and his sister, Karen Reynolds.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gwendolyn Jannette Reynolds; his children, Amber Reynolds Roth and husband Chris and Brandon Kenneth Reynolds and wife Michelle; sisters, Merle Thompson and husband W.T. and Georgia Young; his granddaughter, Skylar Reynolds; numerous nieces and nephews and many other family members; and his K-9 companion Chevy.

Mr. Reynolds was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Larry had a talent of making people laugh. His humor will be remembered by all that knew him. He was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins, John Wayne, Elvis Presley, Muhammad Ali and Dale Earnhardt. He loved sports and all music. His friends and family will miss these things about him.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Reynolds will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
