Levi Allen Hinds

Levi Allen Hinds passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at home. Levi was born February 19, 1949 in Detroit, MI, son of the late Arnold Hinds and Helen Priest Hinds.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Shelley; their children, Lee Hinds and his wife Katrina, Steven Hinds and his wife Lynne, Jennifer Bell and her husband Dan; four grandchildren, Kailey, Tia, Shaina, and Adalynn; and three sisters, Nina Smith, Linda Hauck and her husband Butch, Ilene Wood and her husband Fred.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, August 25th at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 3:30 pm.

The family would like to extend special gratitude to Novant Hospice for their loving care of Levi.
