Lisa Renea McDaniel, age 58 passed away peacefully on Saturday September 28, 2024 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas surrounded by her two daughters and their Dad. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Clifford Bradley and Joyce Stevens. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Jeff Haynie, as well as her life long partner Norman Johnson.
She will be remembered as a very dedicated and hard worker who loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She was well known as a person who put others needs before her own, and enjoyed caring for elderly people during their time of need. Lisa had a strong passion for nature and the outdoors. She enjoyed many camping trips to the mountains as well as the beach.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Cynthia McDonald (Michael), and Misty Pettus (Martin); her sisters: Dawn Atkinson, Dana Langley, and Amy Earley; her grandchildren: Coby McDonald, Alex Barrales, Caleb McDonald, and Phoenix Pettus; the father of her children Timothy McDaniel, as well as her fur babies Ace, and Reecee
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday October 3, 2024 in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Thursday also at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Gaston Hospice.
