Lonnie Lee Miller, 65, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Zellie Lee Miller and Betty Stafford Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Miller. He served 16 years with Catawba Heights Volunteer Fire Department and was an avid coastal fisherman.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 47 years, Teresa Snipes Miller; his sons, David Miller (Jessica), Christopher Miller (Stephanie), and Aaron Miller (Megan); his grandchildren, Jaycee, Jamie (Angel), Hunter, Harley, Hailey (Dylon), Kaitlyn, Alexus, Annslee, Raelynn, and Grayson; his great-grandchildren, Lana, Lilly, and Walker; his nieces, Sophia Miller and Rhonda Miller; his nephew, Lee Miller; and his sister-in-law, Bobbie Miller.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Miller will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
