Louis Gene Bolton

Louis Gene Bolton, 93, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. He was born in Gaston County, the son of the late Ernest Bolton and Annie Crump Bolton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Tessnear Bolton; and 7 siblings. Mr. Bolton was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Mr. Bolton is survived by his children, Charles David Bolton (Carolyn), Louis Eugene Bolton (Sherry), and Sharon Renee Tyson; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 12 great great-grandchildren; his sister, Rachel Boyd; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 1:30 until 3:00pm at Liberty Baptist Church, 3000 Sam Wilson Road, Charlotte, NC 28214.
