Obituary
Mark Alan Ballenger, age 62, passed away on Wednesday April 26, 2023, at his home. He was born in Mecklenburg County and was the son of the late Ronald Wayne Ballenger Sr., and Rebecca Troxler Beckham, who survives. Mark was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Gastonia. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time on the lake. In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Brea Ann Ballenger and fiancé, Nick Wolfe; his brother Ronald Ballenger Jr.; and his sister, Melissa Ballenger and fiancé, Jeff Woolard.
A memorial service, to celebrate the life of Mr. Ballenger will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023, at All Saints Episcopal Church, Gastonia.
