November 1, 1971 to November 28, 2024

Our beloved son, brother, uncle, family, and friend transitioned to the arms of our Lord Jesus on November 28, 2024.  Matt was predeceased by his mother, Jane Brown Stilwell; maternal grandparents Eli and Leona Brown; and paternal grandparents H.O. and Elizabeth Stilwell. Matt was a kind, funny, extremely intelligent, sweet man loved by all. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his father, Tony R. Stilwell of Stanley, NC; his sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and John Hardin of Oakfield, Maine; special nephew and niece, Joshua and Tristan Ryall; special sister and brother, Teresa and Jon Ryall of Bessemer City, NC; best friend, Ron Ward of Iron Station, NC; and many other dear friends and family.
