Michael Duane Wallace

Michael Duane Wallace, 64, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026. He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Frank and Thelma Parton Wallace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bryan Wallace.

Mike is survived by his wife of 43 years, Annette Smith Wallace; his daughter, Christy Wallace; his son, Shannon Wallace (Tiffany); his cherished grandchildren, Jaydon Noa, Lucas Medina, and Gavin and Carter Wallace; his brothers, Steve Wallace (Kim), and Frankie Wallace; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Mike's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet guests from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home.
