Mickey Dean Rhyne

Mickey Dean Rhyne, 84, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021. He was born in Alexander County, NC, son of the late Louie Howard Taff Rhyne and Alma Combs Rhyne. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rhyne was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Potts Rhyne; and his siblings, Louie Rhyne, Jim Rhyne, Gene Rhyne, and Rudy Rhyne.

Mr. Rhyne, or Paw Paw Mick as he was known and loved by his grandchildren, is survived by his children, Dwight D. Rhyne and his spouse Beth, and Michael D. Rhyne; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he cherished, Joni Elizabeth McNabb, Jessica Lyn McNabb, Michael D. Rhyne, Jr., Dwight D. Rhyne, Jr. and his spouse, Kelsie, and Christopher D. Rhyne and his spouse, Alex, Hailey Pillow, Emma Rhyne, Braylon McNabb, and Jackson Rhyne; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Rhyne will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.
