Minerva McSwain Obituary

Minerva Redd McSwain, age 84 passed away on July 6, 2021 at her home. She was born in Aiken, SC and was the daughter of the late Dollie and Minerva Redd. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Buren McSwain, a sister Earline Wood, and a brother Garvis Redd. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Lydia Snodgrass (David) of Stanley, and June Abernathy of Dallas, her two sons Mark McSwain (Angie) of Mount Holly, and Philip McSwain (Carrie) of Lincolnton, a brother Cecil Redd of Vaucluse, SC, as well as six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.
