Nancy (McGinnis) Jessen

Nancy McGinnis Jessen, 82, of Mount Holly, NC, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 15, 1942, to Harold and Ruth McGinnis.

Nancy retired from Steelfab, Inc., in Charlotte, NC, after many years as a bookkeeper. Throughout her life she was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mount Holly and also loved serving with the CRO. She found much delight in sharing her homemade treats with her church friends and loved ones - specifically her amazing sugar cookies, pimento cheese, and pound cakes!

Her greatest joy was her family! Nancy and her husband, Robert Frederick Jessen, Jr. (1939-2016), were married 53 years and both loved having their large family together whenever possible. Nancy loved telling everyone about her three children, Kristina Jessen Springs and husband, William, Karen Jessen O'Conner and husband, Harry, Robert F. Jessen, III and wife, April; and her nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Nancy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Remembrance Gathering is being planned for Saturday, November 15, 2025, Nancy's birthday. The graveside service will be held in the Good Shephard Mausoleum on Saturday November 15, at 2pm.
