Nancy Sue (Clanton) Ragan

Nancy Sue Clanton Ragan, 67, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Everette and Eva Louise Scarborough Clanton. Mrs. Ragan was a member of The Springs Church of God, Lincolnton.

Mrs. Ragan is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jimmy Lee Ragan; her daughters, Jennifer Reed and Julie Ragan; her grandchildren, Tristian Ragan and Elijah Smith; her brother, Timothy Clanton and his wife, Carol; and a special cousin and her namesake, Nancy Bright.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ragan will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2021 in the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Rev. David Caldwell will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
