Nancy Baumgardner Wilson, age 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday April 5, 2025. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Morris Baumgardner, and Ila Chronister Baumgardner. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Raymond "R.V." Wilson, her brothers: James Baumgardner and Kenneth Baumgardner, as well as her great grandson Tyler Eddy.
Nancy was a longtime active member of New Life Baptist Church where she served her Lord in many different ways.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Donna Kimray (Reggie), Raymond "Terry" Wilson (Stephanie), and Karen Smith (Chris). Her grandchildren" Stephanie Robinson (Chris), Laura Buckner (Doug), William Kimray, Scott Kimray (Kalani), Ray Morton (Whitney), Kelly Bryant (Chris), and Allie Smith. Her great grandchildren: Tara Robinson, Ethan Robinson, Cameron Robinson, McKayla Eddy, Haley Eddy, Nathan Kimray, Jay Morton, Zoe Morton, Kristen Bryant, and Katelyn Bryant, her great great grandchildren Marley Loftin, and Hendrix Loftin, as well as her sister Mary Alice Bray (Ronda) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday April 10, 2025 at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly with Pastor David McClure officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday April 9, 2025 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.
