Naomi Ruth Nantz

Naomi Ruth Pierce Nantz, 81, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at her home. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Rev. Linwood Pierce and Rose Grayson Pierce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Nantz, Jr.; and her siblings, Kathryn Dills, Emily Jean Rhyne, Roger Pierce and Jim Pierce.

She is survived by her son, Robert Mark Nantz and his wife, Diane.

A service to celebrate Ruth's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Cramerton Free Will Baptist Church, Cramerton. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made to DHHS Adult Aging Services - The Center - 330 Dr, Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Gastonia, NC 28052.
