Nettie Ruth (Summey) Ridge

Nettie Ruth Summey Ridge, 77, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Jasper Vertis Summey and Pearl Welch Summey.

Mrs. Ridge is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dennis Wayne Ridge; her children, Dennis Ridge, Jr., Devin Ridge (Rebecca), and Duane Ridge (Paula); her grandchildren, Audrey, Dennis, III, Abigail, Mason, Aaron, Ryan, Callan, and Merryn; her sister, Martha Jean McIntosh (Maurice); her nephews, Ben McIntosh and Michael McIntosh (Allison); her great-niece, Maggie; and her great-nephew, Chase.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ridge will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Christ's Lutheran Church, Stanley, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the church. Burial will occur at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Westminster Gardens Cemetery, 3601 Whitehurst Rd., Greensboro, NC.
