Obituary

O.C. Rabun, Jr., 79, of Stanley, met Jesus face to face on Monday, May 15, 2023. He was born in Alamo, Georgia to the late Ollie Cleo Rabun, Sr. and Effie Lee Pittman Rabun. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angie Murphy and his granddaughter, Madison Rabun. He was a member of Adventure in Faith Church, Alexis. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 53 years, Maureen Darley Rabun; his children, Bobby Rabun and his wife, Trina, Carol Davidson, Mitch Rabun and his wife, Misty, Shea Burns, Warren Rabun, and Justin Rabun; son-in-law, Lenny Murphy; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; as well as his special friend, Waymon Hemmings. The family will greet guests from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. A service to celebrate O.C.'s life, officiated by Pastor Ritchie Doss, will be held immediately following at 12:00, also at the funeral home. Interment will conclude at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.
