Patricia Carangie Obituary

Patricia Carangie, 90, of Charlotte NC, formally of West Pittsburg, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 after a short illness. She was born September 22, 1931, in Lincoln Park, MI the daughter of the late Matilda and Edward Joyce. She married Albert Carangie of West Pittsburg who passed on Sept. 22, 2010. Patricia was a member of the Queen of Apostles Catholic Church in Belmont NC. She enjoyed cross stitching and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild. She is survived by a daughter Kathy Belfiore and husband Mark, of Charlotte NC, a son David Carangie and wife Stephanie of Houston TX and a sister Dorothy Helbley of Brunswick, OH; grandchildren Bradley of Boston MA and Brittany (husband Adam) of Concord NC; Haiden (husband Lipe) and Sydney of Houston TX; and great grandchild Joshua of Concord NC. She was preceded in death by three brothers.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Charlotte on Wednesday April 20th at 11am. The mass will be followed by a blessing at Hillcrest Cemetery, Serenity building followed by a celebration of life at the home of Kathy Belfiore.
