Paul Albertino Obituary

Paul Marcus Albertino, 74, of Lowell went home to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by family on January 24, 2021 at 9:20 pm.  He was born in Gastonia, NC, son of the late Swan L and Beatrice Tino.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his great grandson Avett Paul White and brothers Ron L, James, and Larry Tino.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 55 years, Janice, daughter Tammy Leggett and husband, Wyndell, of Lowell, son Mark Albertino and wife, Deanna, of Taylorsville; four grandchildren, Taylor, husband Ryan, Kelsey, husband John, Emma, and Malachi; three great grandchildren, Mayson, Ayden, and Eliana on the way; brothers, Philip, wife Doris, of Clover, SC, Stephen of Inman, SC; sisters-in-law, Judy and Linda; several nieces and nephews.

Paul was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the US Army.  He was hardworking, loved his family, and had a sense of humor like no other.  His motto was persevere, which he modeled throughout his life.  Paul was a member and faithful supporter of the Taylorsville Church of God.  He is adored by many, as he always made others feel loved.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 27, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 375 Woodlawn Ave., Mt. Holly.  A service to celebrate Paul’s life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Gastonia on Thursday, January 28, at 11:00 am and will be live streamed.  The service will be officiated by Revs. Mark Albertino, Kevin Ford, and Josh Glandon.  Burial with military honors will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
