Perry Dean O'Donoghue

Perry Dean O'Donoghue, 59, of Gastonia, died Monday, January 18, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  He was born in Gaston County, son of Carl Lee O'Donoghue and Macie Conner O'Donoghue.  He was also preceded in death by one of his mothers, Jannie Owens, as well as two brothers Sonny Paxton and Kim Duncan.  He loved Nascar, his Carolina Panthers, and his dog Nala.  Those left to cherish his memory include his second father Larry Owens; his children Crystal Waters and her husband Allen, Tommy O'Donoghue, James Kirkland, Dylan Campbell, and David Campbell; his siblings JoAnn Bain, Janie Hicks, PeeWee O'Donoghue, Carl Holt, Terry Garrett, Sharon Rice, and Jenelle Owens; and his special kids Natalie, Logan, James, Jeremy, Brian, Jennifer, Josh K, Josh O, Kristina, Samantha and Nikki.  The family will greet guests from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.  A service to celebrate his life will be held immediately following at 1:00 p.m. in the Woodlawn Chapel.  Online condolences may be left at www.woodlawnfuneral.org.
