Randy Wayne Hathcock, 63, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at his home. He was born in Stanly County, son of the late Gary Wayne Hathcock and Nancy Morgan Hathcock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother in-law, Bob and Dot Adams; his maternal grandparents, Carl and Esther Morgan; and his paternal grandparents, Lonnie and Ruby Hathcock.

A service to celebrate Randy's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Temple Baptist Church, 701 Littlejohn St., Gastonia, NC. Pastor Scott Whitener will officiate. Burial will be held at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church.
