Obituary

Ray Brandenburg, 73, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022. He was born in St. Paul, AR, son of the late Bert and Bertha Thomas Brandenburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Gail Laye Brandenburg; and a number of siblings.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, neighbor, and friend, Ray is survived by his children, Stephanie B. Howell (Jason), and Michael Ray Brandenburg; his grandchildren, Joshua Michael Brandenburg (Erin), and Justin Matthew Howell (Courtney); his great-grandchildren, Sophia and Seph; a number of siblings; and his best friend, Tico.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Brandenburg will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
