Rebecca (Becky) Anthony Cornelius Keisler, 76, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late David Franklin Anthony, Sr., and Mazura Helms Anthony. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dean Keisler; her first husband, Freddie Joe Corneilus; her sisters, Barbara Sue Bumgarner and Brenda Gayle Anthony; and her nephew, Jay Bumgarner.
Mrs. Keisler is survived by her son, Jeff Cornelius and wife, Rhonda; her brother David Franklin Anthony, Jr. and wife, Kathy; her nieces, Pam Bowlin, Katie Luttrell, and Brenda Bumgarner; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Keisler will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2023, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly. The family will greet guests from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
