Regis Ann (Toomey) Stone

Regis Toomey Stone, age 88, of Mount Holly, passed away on December 20, 2021.  She was born in Gaston county, daughter of the late Earl and Evelyn Toomey.  Mrs. Stone will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She was a member of Tuckaseege Baptist Church in Mount Holly where she loved and served the lord with her whole heart.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jerry Stone.  Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Shelly Culbertson (Larry), Jerry D. Stone (Pat), and Jimmy Stone (Cathy), her grandchildren: Christopher (Jessica), Derek Stone, and Stephanie Lynch (Shawn).  A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday December 29, 2021 at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly with the Rev. Jason Marlowe officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Tuckaseege Baptist Church: 511 Tuckaseege Rd. Mt. Holly, NC 28120.  Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly.
