Regnal Wesley Otten, 79, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025. He was born in Portland, Oregon, son of the late William Arthur Otten, Jr. and Dulcenia Hoffman Otten. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, James Wesley Otten; and his brother, Brett Bryant Otten. Mr. Otten was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Mr. Otten is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janice Marie Hord Otten; his children, Dulcenia Marie Otten, Regina Lynn Otten Ford (Matthew), and Marc Anthony Otten (Lori); his grandchildren, Hannah Marie Rigby, Skyler Stocks, Storm Stocks, Dakota Stocks, Adelaide Ford, Jayde Ford, Khari Ford, Rayne Ford, DeHavillan Ford, and Hadassah Harris (Nate); his great-grandchildren, Leia Harris and Abram Harris; his brothers, Paul Dennis Otten (Ida), Wayne Franklin Otten (Carol), and Brian Bragg Otten (Cintra); and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Otten will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly. Pastor John Mayberry will officiate.
