Mr. Robert Norman "Bob" Neff, age 90 passed away on Monday November 18, 2024 at his home. He was born in Rosebush, MI, son of the late Raymond Neff, and Mary Jane Douse and her husband Glenn Douse.
Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War aboard the USS Champlain from November 1952 until October 1956. He spent his professional career in textiles where he rose to become the Vice President of Industrial Relations for A&E Mills in Mount Holly and retired after 37 years of service. Serving his community and taking care of people was a true passion of his and something he continued to do after his retirement. He was active in the Mount Holly Rotary Club, the YMCA, as well as Queen of The Apostles Church in Belmont. He loved his entire family and will be missed dearly.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Sue Neff; his children: Sandy Paynter, Robin Miller, Sheri Neff, and Valerie Nashar (Sam); his siblings: Shirley Arnold, and Roscoe Bowersox (Deanna); his grandchildren: Madison, Dylan, Lisa, Carolyn, Robert, Krystina, Anna Kate, Nina, and Nicole, as well as numerous great grandchildren.
A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday November 22, 2024 at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont.
