Robert Clayton Oliver

Robert Clayton Oliver, 63, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of Duncan Clayton Oliver and Josephine Clark Oliver. Mr. Oliver was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Lee Oliver; and his daughter-in-law, Amy Oliver.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Oliver is survived by his children, Shane Oliver, Joshua Oliver (Melissa), and Chris King (Amanda); his grandchildren, Caleb Oliver, Mikayla Oliver, and Isaiah King; his brother, Howard Oliver; and his niece, Jessica Oliver.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Oliver will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
