Roger Dale Crook

Roger Dale Crook of Gaston County, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the age of 72. He was born in Gaston County to the late Furman and Violet Cherry Crook. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings; Richard, Peggy, Cherry, Carolyn and Norma; and his daughter Tina Crook Eckard. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 54 years, Linda; his daughters, Angie (Berry) Nicks and Christy (David) Brunner; grandchildren, Dustin (Kenzie) Brunner, Brittany (Omar) Oviedo, Lauren (Aaron) Threatt and Jacob Nicks; great grandchildren, Mason, Adrean, Zane, McEmery, Jaxon, Felix and Amelia; a host of beloved nephews and nieces, extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday October 21 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends beginiing at 6:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.
