He was a 1992 graduate of Bossier City High School in Shreveport, LA. He grew up an Air Force brat and was able to live in several states in the United States, Panama (Howard Air Force Base) and Germany (Ramstein Air Force Base). He visited England, Spain and France with his immediate family while his dad was stationed in Germany. He loved to play basketball, baseball and go to the beach fishing. He loved life and family and enjoyed visiting families in South Carolina and Georgia. He took care of his brother Johnny, who was three years older until Johnny went to be with the Lord in 2020. He loved his 3 girls and there was nothing he wouldn't do for them if he was able to. He loved his dogs more importantly, he loved Jesus. Throughout his life he attended several churches where he lived. In addition to his mother, Mr. Shuler is survived by his daughters, Courtney Shuler, Cheyenne Shuler, and Cassie Shuler; his grandchildren, Savannah and Hunter; his sisters, Catherine Hogue and Carolyn Lowery (Jeff); and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Shuler will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.
