Ronnie Dale (Butch) Bynum

Ronnie Dale "Butch" Bynum, 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner Salisbury VA Medical Center. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Bynum was born in Gaston County, son of the late Blair and Viola Howard Bynum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Hoyt Bynum, Gloria Dean Stroupe, Daphney Bynum, Jim Bynum, Jerry Bynum, Wanda Daddario.

Mr. Bynum is survived by his nieces and nephews, Karen Halley, Sheryl Bee, Beverly Ellis, Ryan Stroupe, Pinkney Bynum, Pete Bynum, Melinda Bumgarner, Mike Bynum, Doug Bynum, Tracy Bynum, Alex Bynum, and Abbie Martin.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Bynum will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Alexis Baptist Church, Alexis, NC. An Inurnment will be held at a later date, in the church cemetery. The family will greet guests one hour prior to the service, at the church.
