Rose Mary (Helton) Rivera

Rose Mary Helton Rivera, 63, of Stanley, died Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. She was born in Gaston County to Gary Spargo Helton and Rozelle Kirkland Helton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Randy Tyree Helton. Those left to cherish her memory include her children Victoria and Elliott Rivera; brothers Donald Wayne Helton and his wife Vickie and Teddy Winn Helton; sister-in-law Stephanie Helton; and her three grandchildren Cristian, Ella, and Rose Rivera. The family will greet guests from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church, 113 E. Parkwood Street in Stanley. A service to celebrate her life will be held immediately following at 2:00, also at the church. Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly. Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.
