Ruby Anna (Lambert) Ratliff

Ruby Anna Lambert Ratliff, 95, a loving mother and grandmother, went to be with The Lord on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. She was born in Morganton, NC, daughter of the late Thomas Andrew Lambert and Lucy Smith Lambert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Versal Ratliff, Jr. as well as 6 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Larry Ratliff (Carol), Carolyn Ratliff Smith, Kathye Ratliff Johnson, Greg Ratliff and Joseph Ratliff; her sisters, Lula Arrowood, Bernice Franklin (Gerald) and Glenda Boughman (Mason); her brother, Ray Lambert (Eula); 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. 

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ratliff will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Rev. Billy Wooten will officiate. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Morganton, NC. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
