Shirley Ann Oliver

Shirley Ann Oliver, 78, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at her home. She was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Emma Kirkley. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Renay Lingerfelt, and her brothers, Wilson and Billy Oliver.

Ms. Oliver is survived by her daughter, Amanda Kay Stillwell (Richard); her grandchildren, Gregory Smith and Christopher Smith (Pam); her great-grandchildren, Emma, Elaina, Alley, Andrew, Dominick, and Brooklyn; her brother D.C. Oliver (Jo); and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Oliver will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2024, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens, 7632 Hood Rd., Charlotte, NC 28215. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
